Hello Fellow ABN Members and Friends,
July was another outstanding month for American Business Network. We hosted eight luncheon events, featuring seven innovative companies, and continued building momentum toward our vision of becoming the largest angel investor membership organization in the United States.
One of our most significant milestones this month was the expansion of ABN into Arizona with the launch of our Scottsdale and Phoenix chapters. We are excited to welcome Gregg Sullivan and Steve Daskal to the ABN leadership team. Gregg, a former member of our Dallas chapter who recently relocated to Scottsdale, will serve as the Chapter Chairperson for both Scottsdale and Phoenix. Steve, who recently joined ABN, has accepted the role of Chapter Manager for both chapters. Our inaugural luncheon events were held on July 28 in Scottsdale and July 29 in Phoenix. Both events were well attended and generated strong interest from prospective members, providing an excellent foundation for continued growth in the Arizona market.
Looking ahead, ABN will continue its national expansion with luncheon events planned for Philadelphia and New York City this October. Both cities previously supported successful ABN chapters, and we are excited to reestablish our presence in these important markets. Ozzie Cortes is leading these expansion efforts and will also spearhead the relaunch of our California chapters beginning in January 2027.
July also featured an outstanding lineup of presenting companies, including Forever Analytical Services, Romify.io, Avesta Bio, Green Matter Biotech, Satlantis, AccuBreath, and Chillshark. Even more encouraging is the continued engagement of our membership. Of the six companies that presented during May and June, four have already received investment from ABN members. This is exactly the outcome we strive for. The willingness of our members to invest not only supports promising entrepreneurs but also strengthens ABN’s reputation as a community where quality companies can connect with active investors. That reputation is essential to attracting the exceptional deal flow our members expect.
We are also pleased to announce that the new Members Area of the ABN website has been completed and is scheduled to go live next week. This secure, members-only portal will provide access to information on founders and companies that have presented at ABN events, along with educational resources and other exclusive content designed to enhance the value of your membership.
